Every user has the option to purchase additional SMS and voice call credits. While our paid plans already include a one-time bundle of credits, users can buy more credits at any time as needed.
This option is also available for our FREE plan users. You can purchase extra SMS and voice call credits whenever your balance is running low.
Note that UptimeRobot does not send a low-balance or out-of-credits warning email, so if you rely on SMS or voice alerts it's worth checking your credit balance periodically rather than waiting for a notification.
To purchase credits, log in to your account and navigate to the billing section, where you can find the options to buy credits.
When you click on this option, you'll be taken to the checkout page. On this page, you can select the credit package that suits your needs.
(If this is your first payment and your details haven't been pre-filled, you'll need to complete the billing details and enter your card information.)
During the package selection, you'll also see an 'auto-refill' option. When enabled, it automatically repurchases credits once your balance drops below 25. The refill uses your last-purchased pack size (or the smallest available pack of 100 credits or more, if your last purchase doesn't qualify) — it's not a fixed 100-credit top-up. You can choose to enable or disable this option as you prefer, and this setting can also be found in your dashboard and adjusted at any time. Auto-refill isn't available for the smallest (10-credit) pack, and it only works if you're paying by credit card — it can't be used with a PayPal-funded account.
If a refill payment is ever declined (for example, an expired card), auto-refill is turned off automatically and silently — no notification is sent. If your SMS or voice alerts unexpectedly stop, check whether auto-refill is still enabled and your card details are current.
After confirming and completing your transaction, the credits will be readily added to your account.
