  • You will be redirected to our payment processor’s page.

Stripe Payment Option

1. Choose 'Add Payment Method' to proceed with updating your Stripe payment details.

2. Make sure to keep the "Use as Default Payment Method" option checked. This ensures that the newly updated card will be used for all future transactions.

3. Click on Add, and your credit card details will be updated!

What Happens If a Payment Fails?

If a renewal payment fails, your subscription isn't downgraded right away — there's a short grace period during which your paid features stay active while you sort out your payment method. If the card issue isn't resolved before the grace period ends, your account is downgraded to the Free plan. If you have more monitors than the Free plan allows, all of your monitors are paused, not just the ones over the limit. [link: downgrade article]

You may also receive a warning email about the failed payment, but don't rely on it arriving in time — it isn't guaranteed to reach you before your account is affected. The safest approach is to update your card as soon as you notice it's expiring or a payment has failed, rather than waiting for a notification.
