The key steps for monitoring your site's response time with UptimeRobot are as follows:
Set up monitor UptimeRobot: UptimeRobot automatically tracks your site’s performance by sending out regular requests and measuring the time taken for your server to respond.
Define Acceptable Response Times: Set the threshold for acceptable response times that align with your specific needs.
Configure Alert Conditions: It's worth noting that UptimeRobot doesn't send out immediate alerts when response times exceed your set threshold. Instead, it uses a method to avoid false alarms. We will send alerts only after 3 out of 5 consecutive requests cross your specified response time threshold. This effectively enables more accurate detection of sustained performance degradation, allowing for swift action and resolution of issues.
