UptimeRobot Personal Notification Channels – Setup Guide

Learn how to set up personal notification channels in UptimeRobot to receive alerts directly via email, SMS, call, or integrations.

The available personal notification channels are:

  • Email: Each user can have one email notification channel, which is typically the username used to register on UptimeRobot.

  • SMS & Voice Call: Users can also register one phone number for SMS and voice call alerts. These features require available credits to activate contact and use.

  • Mobile App Push: Users can add one push notification contact for Android devices and one for iOS devices as well. To do this, install the UptimeRobot application on your mobile device and log in using your username. This will make the push notification endpoint available in your dashboard, allowing you to activate it for your monitors.

To add additional contacts for either email or phone, assignment of seats is necessary:

  • Notify-Only Seats: It allows the addition of extra contacts for notifications by email or phone. This option is available in all paid plans.

  • Sub-User Seats: Besides being able to add their own contacts for notifications, sub-users can also create their own push alert contact. This feature is available in the TEAM and Enterprise plans.
