Creating a status page on UptimeRobot is a straightforward process.
Here are the steps:
Navigate to the 'Status Pages' section in your dashboard and click on 'Create Status Page'. Here you'll choose the monitors to display on this page. You can add all monitors, select individual ones by name, or use the 'Tag' feature to add monitors grouped under a specific tag.
The next step is to name your status page. This is required as it will be used in the page heading, title, etc. For example, you could use your brand name.
You have the option to host the UptimeRobot status page on your own domain. If you choose to do this, make sure to create a CNAME DNS record for your domain to 'stats.uptimerobot.com'.
Next, you can add your brand's logo. The acceptable formats are .jpg, .jpeg, or .png, and the size should be less than 400x200px and 150kb.
Choose between a 'Wide' layout for better readability, or a 'Compact' layout to display as much information as possible at once.
If you want your status page to be accessible only to specific people, you can set up password protection. This is a great feature for team-specific status pages.
The meta robots "index" determines your website's visibility in search engines. If you want to hide your status page in search engines, set the value to "noindex".
Click on 'Finish' to create your status page.
Once a status page has been created with a paid UptimeRobot plan, users can further customize settings under 'Global Settings' and 'Appearance'. This allows you to personalize the status page even more, tailoring it to meet your specific requirements and match your brand's aesthetics.
