Announcements on UptimeRobot's Status Page portray essential information for your users. Navigate to the Status pages section on the main dashboard, then click the Add Update button for the status page for which you want to post an announcement.

Different types of announcements have been provisioned for varying needs:
Title: Each announcement requires a concise yet clear title.
Content: This is where you detail the information you want to convey in your announcement.
You can create three types of announcements, each distinguished by color:
Issue (Red color): These announcements appear on your status page instantly upon creation and are also stored in the status page history. They're useful for immediate issues affecting your services.
Announcement (Orange color): They also display on your status page right away and reside in the status page history, which is helpful for notifying about planned events or updates.
Info (Blue color): Posted immediately on the status page, these announcements automatically move to the status page history after 24 hours. They're often used for minor updates or informational messages.
Additional settings for your announcement management:
Publish at: Here, you can schedule your announcement to be made at a future time and date. Please ensure the start time is set to the future - retrospective times won't work.
Auto-hide: This feature allows your announcement to automatically disappear from your status page at a predefined time.
Moreover, you have the option to send your announcement to users who have subscribed to your status page via email.
It's important to check the time zone of your account as it impacts when your announcements show up on your status pages, ensuring timely communication with your users.
