Maintaining strong security in your account is essential, and changing your password regularly aids in this. Here's how you can do it:
Log in to your UptimeRobot account.
Click on the three dots (...) located in the lower left corner of the Dashboard to open the main navigation menu.
Select 'Security'.
You'll be asked to input your current password. Enter it, then type in your new password. To confirm the new password, you'll need to type it once more.
Once you've correctly filled in all the fields, click 'Save Changes'. Your password will then be updated on the spot.
Remember to create a strong, unique password for better security. Avoid easily guessed passwords like your birthday or sequential numbers. Using a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols can make your password more secure.
Signed up with Google or GitHub?
If you created your UptimeRobot account using Google or GitHub sign-in, you don't have a current password to enter in step 4 above — there's nothing set yet. Instead, go to the login page and use "Forgot password" to set a password for the first time. Once that's done, you can come back to Security and change your password normally using the steps above.
