How to Delete Your UptimeRobot Account – Step by Step

Learn how to delete your UptimeRobot account if you no longer need website, server, or API monitoring services.

To ensure full control of your UptimeRobot account, you have the option to delete your account whenever you see fit. Please follow these steps to delete your account:

  1. Log in to your UptimeRobot Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the 'Account Details' section.

Please be informed that to delete your account, you will need to confirm acknowledgement of the deletion process. We will send you a verification email to ensure the process is carried out securely.

Upon confirmation via the verification email, your personal data is removed and your account is disabled immediately — your subscription is cancelled and your monitors are paused. Complete removal of your account data from all our systems follows afterward as part of our standard data-handling process.

Inactive accounts

Deleting your account is not the only way it can become inactive. If you do not log in for 6 months — this applies to free and paid accounts alike — UptimeRobot deactivates the account. You will get a warning email first, followed by a grace period of roughly two weeks before deactivation happens.

Deactivation pauses every monitor on the account. Logging back in reactivates your account, but it does not resume your monitors automatically — you will need to restart each one manually from your dashboard.
